How cacherouter saved our project (and can save yours too)

Drupal uses a caching mechanism in order to get your site running smootly. Although all its tricks are hidden to the end-user and admin, this cache saves your server a lot computing cycles and it makes sure you are running less slow and expensive queries.

The trick is in the {cache_*} tables you'll find in every Drupal installation.
On a recent big project we did, we got into trouble due to drupal caching, so we needed to install an extra module to smooth out the trouble.
